Got a copy of this over the weekend. It’s a pretty entertaining listen for a (former) Phish addict. I’m shocked how sloppy the playing is, but the fact that hardly anyone is in the audience gives this a very homey/loose/fun feel. Also, the jams are the most Grateful Dead-y I’ve ever heard from them. Mike’s playing is the sloppiest of anyone in the band. Sounds like he is just learning how to play the bass. Or maybe it’s the Colorado weed…. UPDATE: OK, if you read Mike’s journal entry from then, it all starts to make sense. The pics are great too.
